Webb Jay for Justice of the Peace

Webb Jay brings a lifetime of professional, public, and community service to his campaign for Justice of the Peace, District 3. A lifelong member of the community, he grew up in Destrehan, and went to Destrehan High School. 

Webb has built his career around working with people, solving problems, and serving others with fairness, integrity, and common sense.

Professionally, Webb is a Louisiana Notary Public, licensed real estate broker, property manager, small business owner, and minister. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Liberty University and also studied at Regent University School of Divinity in the Master's of Divinity Program. His years in real estate and business have given him extensive experience working with contracts, property matters, negotiations, record keeping, and people facing important—and sometimes difficult—decisions. Webb has also served as President and Founding Broker of Greater Southern MLS and has lectured on real estate topics.

Webb’s commitment to public service extends well beyond his professional career. He has served as a member of the St. Charles Parish Zoning Board of Adjustment and the St. Charles Parish Planning & Zoning Commission, and currently serves as Chairman of the St. Charles Parish Housing Authority. He is also a member of the St. Charles Parish Republican Executive Committee and formerly served as President of the Ormond Civic Association.

His community involvement has included service as an Associate Pastor and Youth Pastor, helping establish the St. Charles Parish Crawfish Cook-Off, participating in disaster-relief efforts following the 2016, 2020, and 2022 Louisiana floods, and working with churches and community organizations both locally and beyond St. Charles Parish.

Webb believes a Justice of the Peace should be accessible, respectful, fair, and grounded in common sense. The people who come before the court deserve to be heard, treated with dignity, and know that their case will receive careful and impartial consideration. Webb is seeking this office with a simple commitment: listen to people, treat everyone fairly, follow the law, and do what is right—every time.

Why Webb Jay Is Running

For Webb Jay, public service has never been about holding a title. It has always been about serving people. Throughout his professional life, ministry, civic involvement, and public service, Webb has spent years listening to people, helping solve problems, and working to strengthen the community he calls home.

That is why Webb is running for Justice of the Peace, District 3.

Webb believes the Justice of the Peace should be a court where ordinary people can expect to be heard, respected, and treated fairly. People often come before the court during stressful circumstances—sometimes involving disagreements between neighbors, landlords and tenants, businesses and customers, or other difficult situations. Regardless of who walks through the door, Webb believes everyone deserves the same thing: a fair hearing, a respectful courtroom, and a Justice of the Peace who will listen carefully and apply the law with integrity and common sense.

His desire to serve is grounded in a lifetime of experience working directly with people. As a Louisiana Notary Public, licensed real estate broker, property manager, small business owner, and minister, Webb understands the importance of listening, communicating clearly, keeping accurate records, handling responsibilities carefully, and treating people with dignity. His service in parish government, housing, zoning, planning, civic organizations, churches, and community initiatives has reinforced his belief that good public service begins by remembering who you are there to serve.

A Justice of the Peace Who Will:

Webb’s faith has also shaped his understanding of service. He believes public office is a responsibility entrusted to you by others, and that leadership should be exercised with humility, honesty, compassion, and respect for every person.

Webb Jay is not running because he wants another title. He is running because he believes his professional experience, record of community involvement, and years of public service have prepared him for another opportunity to serve the people of St. Charles Parish.
